This Sunday 30th May, Hotel Cremorne will be entering a team of staff, locals and sporting sponsors into the Balmoral Burn to help raise funds for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
Celebrating a milestone in its 10th year, The Humpty Dumpty Foundation was officially established in the pursuit of purchase of the much needed medical equipment and support for children’s services at Royal North Shore Hospital. Due to overwhelming corporate and community assistance, Humpty has continued to extend its support of Paediatric services and Newborn Care Centres. Humpty now supports over 60 children’s hospitals and health services across Australia as well as two children’s hospitals in East Timor.
The Balmoral Burn, created by former Wallaby great Phil Kearns in 1991, has helped the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in its pursuit to put children back together!
On Sunday 30th May, the team from Hotel Cremorne will be doing their part for such a great cause by joining thousands of participants from schools, corporations, families and individuals who simply want to help Humpty raise funds, by puffing their way up the 420m stretch of Awaba Street in Mosman.
Supported by partner, Coca Cola Amatil, Hotel Cremorne will be providing some light refreshments and food after the race in the Coca Cola Marquee stationed at Balmoral where participants will enjoy the afternoon’s festivities, recuperating from their burn!
Hotel Cremorne Venue Manager, Benjamin Carroll said; “The Balmoral Burn is one close to the heart of Hotel Cremorne. As active sponsors of the Balmoral Hellfish Rugby Club and many other local sporting teams and community groups, we are constantly looking for ways in which we can give back to our local community. The Balmoral Burn presents an opportunity for us to bring together those individuals, including staff, local patrons and sponsors, who make up the family that is Hotel Cremorne for such a worthwhile cause.”
